Spam Call Report on Chakshu: A new ‘Chakshu Portal’ has recently been launched to report suspected fraudulent calls and messages. On this portal, users can report suspected fraudulent calls or messages received in the last 30 days. However, users are suggested to report already committed cybercrimes or financial frauds on the helpline number 1930 or on the official website www.cybercrime.gov.in, as stated in the government advisory. The Chakshu portal can be especially helpful in dealing with cases related to sextortion, impersonation of government officials, or fraudulent messages such as updating KYC expiry of bank accounts, payment wallets, or SIM cards.
